2012 at Gardner-Webb: Played in 58 games and made 56 starts, splitting time mainly between third base and first base … Enjoyed a career year at the plate … Batted .279 with a career-best five home runs … Ranked fourth on the team with 29 RBI … Ranked second on the team in home runs and slugging percentage (.467) … Had a .342 on base percentage … Scored 31 runs and finished second on the team with 14 doubles … Legged out a career-best four triples to tie for the team lead in that category … Had 15 games with at least two hits … Went 3-for-4 with a season-best five RBI to lift Gardner-Webb to a win at No. 4 North Carolina (3/14) … Had a home run, double and triple in that game to finish a single shy of the cycle … Went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a win over Western Carolina (4/17) … Hit four of his five home runs after April 1 … Went 2-for-3 with a triple and home run vs. North Carolina A&T (4/25) … Drove in a pair and scored three runs in that game … Had a stretch of four games in a row with two hits in mid-May … Had an 11-game hit streak in that stretched from mid-April until early May.
