Summer 2009: Played for the Edenton Steamers in the Coastal Plains League (CPL) ... Batted .174 with 13 runs scored, seven doubles, three home runs and 20 RBI in 37 starts ... Played in 44 games ... Posted a .264 on base percentage.

 

2009 at Gardner-Webb: Enjoyed a career year at the plate ... Batted .309 with 37 runs scored 10 doubles, two triples, 15 home runs and 45 RBI in 48 games played ... Home run total tied Hall of Famer Wes Gentry for the most by a catcher in a single season at Gardner-Webb ... Total was second-best in school history overall ... 2008 at Gardner-Webb: Started 38 games behind the plate, and played in 45 games...Batted .327 with 6 homeruns, 13 doubles, 2 triples and 33 RBIs which were all career highs...Posted a .543 slugging percentage...Had a .390 on base percentage...Forged a .984 fielding percentage behind the plate making only four errors on the year...Went 5-for-5 with 2 RBIs and a double against NC A&T (2/27)...Went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and a triple against Mars Hill (3/12)...Went 2-for-4 with 2 homeruns, three RBIs, and three runs against USC Upstate (4/6)...Went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBIs, and three runs against ETSU (4/11)...Went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, an RBI, and two runs against Norfolk St. (5/11).
