Boiling Springs, N.C. - The Runnin' Bulldog grapplers will wrap up its 2012-13 Southern Conference dual match slate this weekend, as GWU will travel to Charleston, S.C. to do battle with The Citadel at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Gardner-Webb has dropped three straight dual match losses with those losses coming at Campbell and then at home to both Chattanooga and Duke.

GWU's five redshirt-seniors - Blake Salyer, Justin Guthrie, Travis Porter and Ryan and Alex Medved - each wrestled for one final time at home in Paul Porter Arena on Tuesday night versus the Duke Blue Devils.

Alex Medved increased his win total to 23 on the season, a team-high; however, the redshirt-senior saw his winning streak snapped at nine straight wins with a loss to Immanuel Kerr-Brown of Duke at 157 pounds last time out.

Travis Porter, who is ranked #33 overall at the heavyweight position by the NCAA coaches, earned a 5-2 win in the tiebreaker over Brian Self of Duke, while both Salyer and Guthrie posted wins at 197 and 165 pounds, respectively, last time out for GWU.

The Citadel is 4-5 overall in dual match action and 3-2 in Southern Conference dual match competition with wins over Davidson, Appalachian State and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.

The Bulldogs are led by Ugi Khishignyam who is ranked #8 in the nation overall at 141 pounds with an overall record of 32-3, while Odie Delaney is ranked #14 in the nation at the heavyweight position with his overall record of 30-7 on the season.

Both Delaney, who was named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week on Wednesday, and Khishignyam are both coming off first-place finishes at the 19th Annual All-Academy Championships last Saturday, February 2nd, as each wrestler posted a perfect 3-0 record on the day overall.
