Boiling Springs, N.C. - After having its Wednesday match versus Wofford postponed in anticipation of rainy conditions, Gardner-Webb's women's tennis team is scheduled next to compete at home versus Erskine College.

The Runnin' Bulldogs' match against the visiting Wofford Terriers, originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 13, has been postponed to a date yet to be determined.

GWU (0-2) is coming off a spectacular effort in a 3-4 road loss to Davidson this past Saturday in which the Runnin' Bulldogs nearly overcame the disadvantage of having to play two players down. The four man roster won three of four singles matches on the road, including two from freshmen Valeriia Popko (St. Petersburg, Russia) and Rokia Sacko (Montreal, Canada), to make things interesting at the Wildcats' Knobloch Tennis Center.

Senior Erica White (Charleston, W.Va.) has gotten off to another great start, forging a 2-0 record at No. 1 singles after wins versus Elon and at Davidson. White improved her all-time singles record to 44-15 with wins over Jordan Johnston and Elaina Cummer, respectively.

Friday's home match versus the Flying Fleet of Erskine College is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m.
