Boiling Springs, N.C. - Gardner-Webb's women's tennis team opens conference play on Tuesday with a home match against Presbyterian on Tuesday, travels to face North Carolina A&T on Wednesday, and hosts Big South rival Campbell on Saturday in a busy week  for the Runnin' Bulldogs.

GWU (1-4) is coming off a pair of losses against Wofford and East Carolina from last week.

For the Runnin' Bulldogs, Erica White (Charleston, W.Va.) has gotten her senior campaign off to an appropriately fast start, forging a 4-1 singles record. Over her career, White has 48 singles wins to her credit, all at the No. 1 singles position.

Additionally, Gardner-Webb has gotten a combined four singles wins from freshmen Rokia Sacko (Montreal, Canada) and Valeriia Popko (St. Petersburg, Russia) this season.

The Runnin' Bulldogs' Tuesday match versus Presbyterian at the Webb Tennis Complex is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. GWU's plays at North Carolina A&T at 2:00 p.m. and Campbell at home at 2:00 p.m.
