BALTIMORE, Md. - Gardner-Webb offensive tackle Steve Demilio received an NFL mini camp tryout invitation from his home state Baltimore Ravens Saturday night.

Demilio (6-5, 300) was a two-time All-Big South Conference selection at Gardner-Webb, earning first-team honors in 2012. He participated in the 2012 FCS Senior Scout Bowl All-Star Game following the season.

Demilio is the first Gardner-Webb offensive lineman to earn a mini camp tryout with an NFL franchise since tackle Kyle Webber did so with the New York Giants following the 2010 draft.

Guard Corey O'Daniel signed an undrafted free agent (UDFA) contract with the Washington Redskins in 2011 and participated in training camp.

Demilio, who was a three-year starter for the Runnin' Bulldogs, played high school football at Severna Park (Md.) High before spending one season at Milford (N.Y.) Academy.
