Boiling Springs, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb volleyball team, which began spring practice back on February 21st, has released their 2012 spring schedule which includes tournaments at Wake Forest and at Charlotte, as well as home matches against North Greenville, Asheville, Montreat, Anderson and Newberry.

The Runnin' Bulldogs will host a spring tournament on Saturday, March 24th, as head coach Leo Sayles and his squad welcome UNC Asheville, Newberry, Montreat, Anderson (S.C.) and North Carolina A&T to Paul Porter Arena in Boiling Springs, N.C. for the one-day event.

The first match is slated to begin at 1 p.m., while the last match should start around 5:30 p.m.

One week later, on March 31st, the Runnin' Bulldogs will compete at a spring tournament hosted by Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C., which will include teams such as Wake Forest, High Point, Davidson, Winthrop, Elon, Duke, South Carolina, North Carolina Central and North Carolina A&T.

Gardner-Webb will then return home to host North Greenville at 7 p.m. on Thursday night, April 12th, before wrapping up their spring season at a one-day tournament in Charlotte on Saturday, April 14th. 

The 49ers' tournament field includes Charlotte, Davidson, UNC Greensboro, Wingate and Catawba.
