
Tennis Inks Ulehla in Early Signing Period

Ulehla, a Waxhaw, N.C. native will join the Runnin' Bulldogs for the 2018-2019 season. He is currently the 7th ranked player in North Carolina and is a three-star recruit.
Pleased with the addition of Ulehla, head coach Mike Griffith stated, "Nicholas is a strong lefty player who has the ability to win points with his serve. He is committed to improving his game and takes tennis and his academics very seriously. We are very fortunate to sign such a strong local player who has so much potential."
The local product currently trains with former Big South Conference Player of the Year, Evgeny Slesarev at the Charlotte International Tennis Academy. A recipient of the Gardner-Webb Trustee Scholarship, Ulehla currently holds a perfect 4.0 GPA and intends to major in Computer Science at Gardner-Webb.
The Runnin' Bulldogs are set to open their 2018 campaign on January 13th at North Carolina State University.
