@GWU_MBK Dominican Republic Journal: Day 1The Runnin’ Bulldogs departed at 3:30am Wednesday morning for their 6 day foreign tour to the Dominican Republic. Their plane touched down in Santo Domingo around 1pm., and from there the team headed to their hotel to rest before the first of three contests over the next few days. Gardner-Webb played their first game against Club Calero in Santo Domingo. The games on the foreign tour are being played with FIBA rules, which means playing four ten-minute quarters with a 24-second shot clock.Full Story
@GWU_MBK Dominican Republic Journal: Preparing to ServeBOILING SPRINGS — The Gardner-Webb men’s basketball program is set to depart for its summer foreign tour and mission trip on Wednesday to Juan Dolio Dominican Republic, a coastal fishing village on the Caribbean Sea with a population of 2,500, and located 31 miles from the capital city of Santo Domingo. Throughout the week, senior Tyrell Nelson (Charlotte, N.C.) and junior Jamaal Robateau (Queensland, New South Wales, Australia) will be providing an inside look at the trip from a student-athlete’s perspective.Full Story

Former Runnin’ Bulldogs Enjoying Professional Careers OverseasBOILING SPRINGS — In recent years, there have been many Runnin’ Bulldog basketball players that have moved on to professional basketball careers all over the world.
