Mixon (Atlanta, Ga. / Baylor School) and White (Rock Hill, S.C. / Rock Hill HS) will be playing their final matches in Boiling Springs. The ceremony will be held at 1:30 pm, or 30 minutes prior to the beginning of Tuesday's Big South Conference bout with Presbyterian.
Mixon has been a regular in doubles play this season, winning four matches – seeing action primarily at No. 3 doubles as a steadying, veteran presence alongside newcomer Miljana Ristic. Mixon has also posted a 1-1 mark in singles play this season.
She has totaled 10 singles wins during her career with the Runnin' Bulldogs and has won 28 career doubles matches – with a career-best 13-8 mark as a junior in 2016.
White has been strong once again at No. 5 singles, leading Gardner-Webb with a 12-3 mark overall (5-2 Big South). She enters Tuesday's action on a six-match win streak and is 8-2 in her last 10 matches.
White has also been solid in doubles play, going 9-5 overall – with eight of those wins at No. 2 doubles with partner Sarah Rieckmann.
White has been steady throughout her career in the win column, capturing 46 career wins at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
Gardner-Webb (11-5, 4-3 Big South) has won eight of its last 10 matches overall and has gone 8-2 on its home courts so far in 2017.
Following Tuesday's regular season finale, head coach Jim Corn will ready his squad for the 2017 Big South Conference Women's Tennis Championship – set for April 20-23 in Winston-Salem, N.C. (Wake Forest University).
