Volleyball To Compete in Three Tournaments This Spring

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb volleyball team will compete in three tournaments throughout the months of March and April, as announced by GWU head coach Leo Sayles.

On Saturday, March 25th, the Runnin' Bulldogs will travel to Carolina Union Volleyball Club's facility in Charlotte, N.C. for a college-play date.  Other participating schools include South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Davidson, Western Carolina, Appalachian State, Wofford, ETSU, Queens, Belmont Abbey, Wingate, and Lenoir-Rhyne. 

Saturday, April 1st, the squad will travel to Atlanta, Ga. for a day of competition at Georgia Tech.  GWU will see action against Chattanooga, Charlotte, and South Alabama. 

The Runnin' Bulldogs will host their final spring event on Saturday, April 8th. Participating teams include Winthrop, Presbyterian, Lenior-Rhyne, Montreat College, Newberry College, Tusculum College, and Catawba Valley Community College.
