Kehoe comes to Gardner-Webb after spending the last year as the Undergraduate Student Manager for the Auburn TIgers baseball team.
During his time at Auburn, Kehoe assisted the team practice by preparing the field, conducting operating drills, throwing batting practice, and hitting infield fungo.
Kehoe was a pitcher and utility player at NCAA Division II Auburn University of Montgomery from 2022-2023. He appeared in 27 games over two seasons as a two-way player. Kehoe was named to the All-Gulf South Conference Team while also being the baseball representative for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee at AUM.
A.J. Kehoe, Cole's father, is the head baseball coach at Central High School in Phenix City, Ala.. He was inducted into the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2024.
